the idea
In 2012, from July 28 to September 2, on the occasion of the 30th Olympic Games in London, GP will embark on a journey along the European North-South energy axis to highlight the strong energy interconnections between countries of Europe. The 20-member team, made up of scientists and artists, will use low-CO2 vehicles to cover 13,814 km and 408.82 nautical miles, crossing 18 countries in 36 days
the target
The photo and video recording of 31 “green points of interest”, good practices in the use of renewable energy sources and the utilization of local traditional energy knowledge, as reflected in the monuments of the UNESCO World Heritage List. The collection of original material for the production of a 300′ documentary and the publication of a book of 5,000 copies. The presentation of a mobile exhibition of environmental photography in the capitals of the countries along the route.
